Gabriela Joglar Burrowes is a writer, editor, poet and children’s book author. Her stories tackle social and environmental problems that both entertain and teach readers critical thinking skills. She has published three very successful children’s books: Carlitos el cobito quiere escuchar el mar (2022), Lluyú and Los vejigantes valientes (2024). Her first book of poetry is titled Ósea (2023) and was published by Luscinia C.E.

She is also a disability justice and inclusion advocate.
